The NBEF College & Young Professional Network Summer Event took place on August 8th at New Brunswick High School, with attendance from over 180 high school and college students as well as young professionals from New Brunswick. This compact conference style gathering included opportunities for networking, college readiness training, a professional development workshop, panel discussion, food, music, and raffle prize giveaways (including scholarships).

The event included a powerful speech from Dr. Alex Ellis, a noted motivational speaker, who encouraged young attendees to pursue their dreams and not let doubt overpower their ambitions. He emphasized that dreams are a transformative mindset, stating: “Doubt is loud, but destiny has got to be louder.”
