The NBEF Public Speakers Institute (“PSI”) facilitated a 4-part workshop series for it’s Second Cohort. This culminating event was held at Middlesex College – New Brunswick Center in New Brunswick, which charged participants to give a 4-minute speech before a live audience and critiqued by both a panel of professionals from New Brunswick along with a focus group comprised of New Brunswick High School seniors.
NBEF is offering this professional and leadership development training to our Network. It is our aim to administer a safe space for them to evolve as effective public speakers in classrooms and workplaces. Moreover, the NBEF PSI is designed to provide our students and young professionals with essential tools to “Own the Power of their Voices” as leaders in our community and beyond.
This Cohort was NBEF’s edition of “Girl Power” with Angela Davis, Angeles Sumano, Ashley Caldwell, Chanelle Francis, Cidney Reyes Avila, Jacqueline Perez Garcia, Smeleden Vazquez Marquez, and Yoslit Vazquez Marquez. They all did an awesome job!!!
