NBEF will host a Nursing Career Cluster for all college students from New Brunswick who are majoring in nursing on Saturday, November 11th from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm via zoom. It will be administered by a dynamic panel of nursing professionals who are all alumna of New Brunswick Health Sciences Technology High School and members of NBEF’s Network.
They will cover an array of topics; and share and tips and pointers on what it takes to succeed. Students will:
— Learn how they navigated college and transitioned into the nursing field
— Join in a discussion about patient safety and self-advocacy
— Get some advice on how to best prepare for the NCLEX-RN exam

NBEF Network Career Clusters are administered by Young Professionals (New Brunswick High School and New Brunswick Health Sciences Technology High School alumni who are member of NBEF’s College & Young Professional Network). They are “relatable” and provide unique experiences for New Brunswick students to learn more about careers they aspire, get insight on internship and employment opportunities, make contacts, etc. The other Career Clusters provided by NBEF are STEM, Business and Communication, and Social Work and Psychology.
