NBEF is gearing up to promote its scholarship program to New Brunswick High School (NBHS) and New Brunswick Health Sciences Technology High School (NBHSTHS) seniors. This exciting presentation is typically done during the month of March (each year) at both high schools.
Since 2007, NBEF has awarded college scholarships to more than 700 NBHS and NBHSTHS graduates, totaling $875,575.00. The organization prides itself with a growing network of college students and young professionals who are all alumni of the two schools.
NBEF launched its trailblazing “College & Young Professional Network” in 2011 with 11 college students and this component has now grown to over 600 active members, including: (1) high school seniors; (2) college students; (3) graduate school students; and (4) young professionals (all from New Brunswick).
NBEF will present this year’s scholarships on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the Pines Manor in Edison, NJ starting at 6 pm. It will be a part of the NBEF’s Annual Awards Gala that also inducts outstanding alumni into the Hall of Distinguished Alumni of NBHS and acknowledges the contributions and service rendered by exemplary individuals, community and corporate partners.
