With a priority to continuously address the needs of hundreds of New Brunswick youth and young adults, NBEF is now including a focus on mental health in its programs and particularly within its College & Young Professional Network component.
This much-needed initiative will launch with a virtual event on Thursday, November 18, 2021 starting at 7 pm entitled, “An Evening of Self-Care and Self-Empowerment.”
It will be led by Valeria Aloe, an award-winning facilitator who will share techniques on how to maintain balance and maximize performance. This special event is for those who may be navigating high levels of stress and anxiety while trying to manage personal, school, professional and/or family responsibilities.
New Brunswick High School and New Brunswick Health Sciences Technology High School alumni who are attending colleges/grad school or are young professional can register/RSVP for this dynamic experience.
NBEF will also administer a “Raffle Drawing” with opportunities to win scholarships for school or professional development; along with other great prizes!!!
This program is made possible with the funding support of Johnson & Johnson; New Jersey Center for Hispanic Policy, Research and Development; and New Brunswick Tomorrow.
