Jessica Varela

JESSICA VARELA, MBA is a New Brunswick Health Sciences Technology High School alumnus, former NBEF scholarship recipient, and served on NBEF’s Board of Directors. In addition, Jessica has provided leadership for NBEF’s College & Young Professional Network.

Jessica is currently a Ph.D. student in the field of Bilingualism and Second Language Acquisition at Rutgers University; and earned her Bachelor’s from Rutgers University in Latin American Studies, and Masters of Business Administration from Walden University.

Jessica is very passionate about impacting the lives of New Brunswick youth with a proven track record having formerly served as the Project Coordinator of the Nature thru Nature Program of Rutgers University that introduces New Brunswick Public School District students (4th through 12th graders) to the wonders of nature and natural science by exposing them to both classroom and outdoor learning opportunities.
