OVERVIEW
The New Brunswick Education Foundation (“NBEF”) is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization that is designed to help inspire, equip, and empower New Brunswick Public School students to succeed. NBEF partners with individuals, businesses, and organizations to provide innovative and cutting-edge initiatives for students that are generally not covered by the school budget.
MISSION
“To seek and procure monetary contributions, charitable gifts, and in-kind services to help increase educational opportunities, innovative programs, scholarships, and other resources to benefit New Brunswick youth.”
GOALS
- To foster collaborations with educators, parents, alumni, local businesses, corporations, churches, community organizations, and others to benefit students;
- To complement the New Brunswick Public School District’s curriculum, programs, projects and activities;
- To provide mini-grants for teachers to implement creative and innovative learning experiences for students;
- To develop an alumni network that will make a positive impact on the academic, social, and career development of students;
- To generate a core identity, cultivate strong partnerships of annual giving, and establish programs, resources and services that will continuously enrich educational and career related opportunities for New Brunswick youth.
