N. FRED BROWN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND BENEFITS
NEW BRUNSWICK HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES
The NBEF Board of Directors and staff would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the Brown Family and the numerous contributors of the N. Fred Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund. Mr. Brown’s life was extraordinary, and he made a tremendous impact in the New Brunswick Public Schools and on the entire community.
The N. Fred Brown Memorial Scholarship offers a $1,000 scholarship to a New Brunswick High School graduating senior who will attend an accredited college or university; and who has at least a “B” average in Mathematics; and who seeks a career in Engineering, Education or other pursuits where their mathematical interest may be applied. Additionally, the receipient(s) must be in the top 25% of their class, have financial need, and be ambitious, highly motivated, and well respected by fellow students and faculty.

SAVE THE DATE … NBEF is gearing up for its 5th Anniversary Celebration
NBEF invites you to join us at our Fifth Anniversary Celebration on Friday, June 10, 2011 at the Pines Manor in Edison, New Jersey as we pay tribute to outstanding New Brunswick High School alumni and award over $25,000 in college scholarships. Moreover, we will recognize our corporate sponsors, 100 club contributors, and scholarship donors for their generosity over the years. Undoubtedly, this promises to be the most significant event in NBEF’s history!

NBEF awarded $24,000.00 in College Scholarships

$24,000 in college scholarships was awarded to New Brunswick High School and New Brunswick Health Sciences Technology High School graduates at NBEF’s 4th Annual Gala held on June 10, 2010 at The Imperia in Somerset, NJ. The NBEF Board of Directors extends appreciation to all of the individual scholarship donors and alumni class contributors for their outstanding support.
