Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) recognizes exemplary employee volunteers and rewards nonprofit organizations they support annually at a ceremony held at its corporate headquarters in Newark, NJ. This year’s top award of $10,000 was presented to Gwendolyn D. Ratliff for her outstanding service as a NBEF Board Director … most noted for her leadership as the organization’s Scholarship Program Chairperson and member of its Innovative Teacher Grants and Robotics Program Committees.

She has been employed at Public Service Electric & Gas Company (PSE&G), a subsidiary of PSEG, for 13 years and is currently a Staff Engineer/Project Coordinator for its Central Division Electric Distribution Engineering & Resource Department. The funding received from PSEG, in part, will help underwrite NBEF’s Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (“STEM”) initiatives benefiting New Brunswick Public School students, Kindergarten through Grade 12.
